Interior Siding, Wool Insulation and Electrical

Malissa Tack January 13, 2013

We have been extra busy, tackling a lot of the interior siding. First we started with the back wall and then the ceiling. Chris and I had a good three days of hard work on the interior, and we got a ton of siding done. As we put up each board, we would put a small bead of wood glue on each board before nailing it up into place. Once we had a few boards up we would fill up the space with wool.

Half way up the ceiling we put in a screen divider so the wool won’t settle in the ceiling, creating a air gap at the top.

Lots and Lots of Wool!! The wool is working out better than we could have ever hoped for. It’s such an easy process and it’s rewarding to know we are using a natural material.

Electrical- Chris was able to get a lot of the electrical done. He has been very persistent with all of of it, which is a good thing because the last thing you want is a bad electrical job.
