Been working a lot on the walls Getting them ready since we can’t put the floor down till we do. We put two coats of no mold primer, since the space will have much more moister in the bathroom. Then we painted it with One coat of Snow White paint. We decided to go with white since the space is so small, and we wanted it to be bright.

I spent a few hours putting up the Tung Oil on the walls and in the Sleeping Loft. It’s a very timely process when you are doing it by yourself, but everyone seems to be so busy with work. I’m glad I was able to get it done!

The Tung Oil brings out the character in the pine... also gives it a richer color. Just don’t sit and watch it dry... since this stuff takes days to soak into the wood. Any Oil still on the walls got wiped of with a soft cloth.

On Christopher’s day off he helped with some of the wool in the kitchen wall. We ran out of wool before we could finish up the kitchen area, so we had to make a call to Oregon Shepherd to order more!

The cold could not take away from the beauty of nature... I’m excited and surprised everyday by what new and amazing things there are to see in this world. And I find it important to take a moment and remember that. What you see here, today, is a gift, and every gift should be cherished.
